Usage: fingerboard. Cut into veneer ebony is used for several parts of guitars (like inlays, purfling and rosette), lutes (purfling, ribs, neck veneer and inlays) and baroque guitars (inlays, back & sides). Also used for woodwind instruments like flutes and oboes
